    Description

One of the highest-rated certified organic agriturismi in the hills of Caprese Michelangelo, Tuscany — and we think it's a pretty magical place to spend a season. The property sits deep in nature, with rivers, waterfalls, natural pools, and endless hiking trails starting right at our doorstep.

One thing worth knowing upfront: we are quite remote. Only apply if you genuinely love being in nature and don't mind a 15–20 minute walk to the nearest bus stop or shop.

Marc and I are lifelong entrepreneurs with over 40 years of combined experience across design, hospitality, and start-ups — and Il Vigno is our latest venture. If you've ever dreamed of running your own place — a farm, a B&B, a restaurant — this is a rare chance to see what it actually looks like from the inside.

That said, running a farm and agriturismo is hard work. We're looking for Workawayers who are engaged, hard-working, and able to work independently without supervision. Il Vigno is, above all else, a working business — and whether you're in the kitchen, the garden, or front of house, you'll be contributing to something real.

If you're looking for a leisurely experience, this probably isn't for you. But if you're energised by challenges, take pride in your work, and want to be part of something you can be genuinely proud of — we'd love to hear from you.

2026 Season — May through October
about 5-6 hours a day , but could be up to 40-44 hours a week during peak season

We are looking to fill two positions:

    1. Front of House All-Rounder — a varied, people-facing role covering guest administration (reservations, check-in/out, pre-arrival communication), social media and promotions, drink preparation, and food service.

    2. Farm Hand & Outdoor Maintenance — caring for and maintaining our organic vegetable garden, micro-greens, fruit orchard, and olive grove, keeping all outdoor areas clean and presentable, and handling small repairs as needed. As Marc & I are also new to vegetable farming, we are looking for an individual with prior experience in the field.

Both positions require a valid EU work permit or EU citizenship, conversational to fluent English, relevant experience and applicable skills, flexibility with working hours and split shifts (morning and evening) and availability for a minimum of 3 months — full season (May–October) strongly preferred.

We offer full board — shared or private room in a 3-bedroom apartment with kitchen and living area, plus groceries + staples for meals that you may have to cook for yourself — along with €150/week for the first 25 hours and €9/hour for any additional hours worked. Please note that you may be required to work up to 40-44 hours during our busy season.

When contacting us, please specify which position you are interested in and include experience and skills relevant to that role.
