*Paid Apple picking available from mid August 2020 to November 2020*
*Looking NOW for 2 people, very mature to look after house + kids + other little jobs* Mid August to mid November2020 // Paid

We are a couple with 3 children, Lucie 7, Joshua 4 and Mia 2. We live in the countryside with our 2 dogs, Peaches the St Bernard and Lady our Springer. I am French, from Brittany and speak French only with the kids. Phil is Irish and we speak English when all together. Lucie is bilingual. Josh understand both and speak a bit of both.
We are apple growers, we grow 50 acres quite intensively, on a rented farm 15min from home. We also have 70 colonies of bees...
We live on a little farm we bought recently it is only 4-5 acres and we are after planting a few apples trees, plum trees, pears, raspberries, a small vineyard (1200 vines)... we would like to farm that place in an ecofriendly way. We are looking into the permaculture, biodynamic concepts...

From Mid August to Mid November we are looking for an extra 2 persons to look after our house and 3 children. We already have 1 workaway committed. We are looking for 2 more people. There will be plenty little jobs around the farm + the house (cleaning, homework, cooking for 9 every day..., wash up ... ) . That will be full time work... Good job expected/good cooking ... You will be living in a mobile home next to our house. As our kids speak French, the ideal person will speak French. We also need people over 25 for insurance reason on our vehicles. (Can be flexibility there as our first workaway is over 25 already)

From mid August 2020 to mid November 2020 we will have seasonal pay jobs available as apple pickers. We need people willing to stay for the full season. It is not an easy job : starts at 8.00-9.00 and finish at 17.00. We work with around 15 people.

We will probably be looking for workawayers again from mid February/March. The jobs will only be gardening around the house, help with the kids and the cooking... These workaway experience are not paid.

We really want you to enjoy your stay in Ireland. We are very flexible to accommodate any trip you want to plan. There is no shortage of activities in the garden. There is plenty to exchange regarding horticulture and beekeeping.

Anyone interested in joining our gang would be involve in the development of the home farm/garden/bees/wax... as well as looking after the kids and some dinners. We would like someone interested in both aspects of our venture: the kids and the farm. It all comes together... the farm helps us to keep them busy ;) ... Very little use of the TV down our place!
