    Description

Me and Flo are parents of a little Selva, 11 month today. We live in a collective house that we bought with other 8 persons in the countryside, a valley in the south of France (Alpes de Haute Provence). We have a dozen hectares of land, mostly covered by a beautiful forest, with a river that pass by. We have dogs, cats and horses (not all the time, sometimes they go to other fields to have fresher herbs). We host artists for creative residencies and we organise an annual festival of circus, dance and music (Festilumbra). We are still renovating the big stone's house and trying to cultivate the land.
We bake bread that we sell in local markets.
Me and Flo are circus artists, we travel a lot for work.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

I am italian and argentinian, I speak italian with my doughter, and I'm always happy to speak spanish or english when someone need a help with the french. Dancing and doing acrobacies are an other language that I love to share with people. When I'm at home I give free yoga classes open to the people of the valley. I would be pleased to share all of that with you. And this is only me speaking, but living with us means living with a musician (we have differents music intruments at home), artesans, bakers, eco-constructeur...

    Help

Since me and Flo don't work for the same circus company, sometimes we have to travel to work and take care of our doughter without the help of the other. We are searching for someone that could help us with Selva while we are on tournée (and even when we are together sometimes we need a nanny to be able to find some time to train, do some administrative work, etc...). During the periods we work that means staying with Selva a few hours par day (max 3 or 4), always near us (a part when we're on stage performing and in that case we cannot interrupt what we're doing to help:) The main task would be playing with her, giving her water and a snak if it's the Time.
When we are at home this same person could help te collective during the participatory sites (mainly of construction and vegetable garden), and sometimes take care of Selva or some other kid of the house for a couple of hours (6 and 13 years old. The parents will be nearby). In the house we always eat collectively and we try to organise common activities such yoga, moovie screening, etc... We believe that the person willing to join us must love being and sharing in a group and baby-sitting. In exchange she or he will dicover a bit of the contemporary circus world, and living in a warm big friends' family (a part of the inhabitants we often have artist or friends and family passing by). The others members of the collective (mainly french) aren't all artists, and they have many different skills to share with the guests.

We have a practice room to do yoga, meditate, dance, etc... but when is sunny we all love to spend time outside in the terrace, or at the river etc...
