  Description

  We need help during november and december! We’re a family of 4 (Blai, 10 Y.O, Emma, 7 Y.O, and my husband Pablo and me, Maria).
  
  There is always a lot of work to do around our land and house, but specially with kids (bring them to the school, and pick at them also. driver's license is required!). We would really like you to speak them English all the time.
  
  We have had aupairs before helping with kids, in which we exchange accommodation and food. The work is for five ours more or less, and five days during the week. Smoking is not allowed.
  
  We are living in the Mountains, in a beautiful house surrounded by oak forests. If you like nature and tranquillity this is your place!
  
  Pablo works as a cheesemaker in the workshop we have on the ground floor of our home, and I work as an environmental technician in public administration.
  
  we will be very pleased to share our everyday life with you!

  We'd love to share with you our daily life (family, friends, mountains, hikes, rides, meals ...), and good moments. We love to host our friends, and to cook delicious and traditional dishes home. Moreover, we'll provide you all the opportunities to be exposed to our culture. Pablo is a professional cheesemaker, so you can watch him produce cheeses, and eat them whenever you want.
  
  We live in the mountains, so we all are well-connected with nature and feel happy outdoors. Moreover, we both have studied Environmental Sciences, so we LOVE nature and that’s what we try to teach our kids and sharing with you.

  Help

  The volunteers can work 5 hours a day, 5 days a week.
  
  The main goal with the help requested from travellers is to help us with kids, and to speak with them always in English. We'll need you help us every morning (1h approx) to wake up them, get dressed, breakfast, and bring them to the school bus stop, with our car. In the afternoon, you should pick up them at the school or at the school bus stop, depending on their afternoon activities, and stay with them for a while. We will be very happy if you prepare some games to play with them in English that allow them to learn your language in a playful way.
  
  Other works during the day, when kids are at the school, could include taking care of the garden, feed our dog, and putting up a large fence around the crops and the forest.

  Accommodation

  We have 2 buildings, quite close but independent: the main house, with the cheese workout on the ground floor and the family home upstairs, and "the paller", a tiny house that sometime we rent to tourists. If you come with us, you can stay in the tiny house. There is a kitchen, but we can cook together as well. Food is provided.

  What else ...

  Sant Martí de Llémena is a small 600 inhabitants village. It's a privileged environment surrounded by crops, fields, oak forests, Romanesque hermitages... It’s quite famous for family tourism and perfect for hiking, biking, running, always surrounded by nature.
  The main city, Girona is a 30-minute drive away. There are two round-trip buses per day. Girona has good connections with Barcelona city center by bus or train (less than 40 minute trip). Moreover, the French border is quite close, and there are also buses or trains to travel there. Furthermore, there’s an international airport with many Ryanair flights.
  We are a family that likes to live enjoying the natural environment, in peace and harmony with nature and friends. We enjoy going to the city occasionally to see cultural events (theatre, cinema, music), but normally we enjoy much more being away from traffic, and the noise and pollution of the cities.

  We have many space for camper vans. You can stay in our fields or under the forest, you can choose. We will give priority to people who come with their campervan, although we have room to accommodate them.
