    Description

    Hi there excited adventurers.

I am Steve, a Belgian living in Connemara, the West of Ireland. I live in a lovely 300 years old traditional cottage with two bedrooms.

I love the countryside and nature as I live in the mountains with breathtaking views of Lake Mask. I live amongst hundreds of sheep farmers.

My place is remote but nevertheless it's in the centre of multiple touristic attractions such as the Killary Fjord, Cong with the famous Ashford Castle, Westport, Clifden,...

I run a small B&B and also do gardening for private people.

There's still a lot of renovation projects to be done on the cottage, a lot of painting.
But because I'm busy enough with my own work I often don't find the time to finish these tasks.
At the moment I'm looking for painting the cottage inside and outside and fixing the decking outside

So I'm looking for someone, preferably couples who are good in painting and other building skills to help finish the cottage, my home.
I am preferably looking for a couple who knows how to get along Independent as I am quite often gone for a day's work. Also because of the nature of my business I often don't have time to cook so a couple that can cook would definitely be welcome.
The evenings I am mostly home.
I am not vegetarian but I mostly eat and cook vegetarian.
So vegetarians and vegans are definitely welcome.
I try to do my bit to live as sustainable as possible with as little waste as possible.

There's a lot to see and do around here and I can take you anywhere with the car. I also have bicycles that you can use

Come and live with me for some time in this magical place in the world.

    All welcome

There's plenty of things to see and do around Connemara. And though we are remote, we are close to some big towns. We are also close to Galway, cultural capital of Europe in 2020.
You can also do a lot of hiking and biking around here. I provide bikes.

    Help

I am looking for a couple who can help do diy projects around the house specifically painting and having some skills in building with wood and cement would be a bonus for the cottage. Those who can cook would be helpful to share your recipes with me at home and to help me with my busy schedule.
At the moment it's for painting the cottage inside and outside.

I live in an old traditional cottage with two bedrooms. You will have your own bedroom with private bathroom. There's a living room and a fully equipped country kitchen.
I can cook but preferably I'm looking for couples who would cook themselves.

For transport I can drop you in the nearest towns or local bus stations. I also pick you up from the nearest town.

VERY IMPORTANT: there's no WiFi nor phone coverage in the cottage as it's very remote. So it's a complete digital detox
