Description
Friendly and creative family seeking a bit of back-up with caring for our children. We live in the countryside within 5 minutes walk from a shoreline (lough Foyle) 15minutes walk to the village of Muff with regular bus connections to the city of Derry. We have lots of pets. You would have your own accommodation in the form of a mobile home in a small field next to the main family home and we would love to welcome you to our family and see what life is like here.

We can Provide you with an opportunity to practice English language, we love cooking and can teach you how to make some Traditional Irish meals if you like. I am also a folk singer so can teach you some Songs if you are interested in that. The location where we live is very safe and beautiful and it is easy to get around to other places in Ireland with good bus connections from Derry.
There are many excellent beaches and opportunities for water sports/ horse riding/ wall climbing/swimming a short drive away. We have a beach just across the road which is nice for walks when the tide is out. There is a couple of pubs and shops in the village of Muff which is within walking distance from our home.Projects involving children

Help
My husband (actor) is often working on projects away from home. I need someone to play, create, & relax with my three home - educated daughters (aged 6,11& 12) for two days a week while I am doing my PhD work. They are very chilled out so it’s fairly relaxed household. No meal preparation required as I would pack them a lunch/make the evening meals but you would be welcome to if you like to cook! The rest of the time you would be free to do your own thing or join us for day-to-day activities /meals or just explore the neighbourhood, travel around a bit.
We have just moved to this house recently so if you want to help out building raised beds/poly tunnel/ or general gardening etc. all help welcome.
The girls are all very creative and love to be outdoors and care for their many pets so if you like Art, music, animals and of course children, you might enjoy this work away opportunity. You are not required to 'teach' them anything in particular. They would just be happy to get to know you, your culture and language.Languages

Separate Mobile home in a field next to the house. This has it's own W. C but the shower would have to be taken in the main house as the connections are not yet completed.
There is a bedroom with a full-sized double bed and wardrobe.
A kitchen area with a small cooker, refridgerator, kettle, Toaster etc. of your own. Water supply relying on refilling 5litre bottles of water from the main house til I get the plumber!
There is also a dining/ living space room with sofas, table and storage. We provide all bedlinen and towels.
The mobile home can be chilly at this time of year so there are two electric heaters and an electric blanket to keep you cosy! What else ...
