4 seasons, clean clear skys, Solar passive hemp home

We are a small family living on 7 acres of regenerating grasslands in the outskirts of Tenterfield in the beautiful New England Tablelands. We are a family of a Mum and two small children 9 & 12, they attend the local primary school and I work on completing my hemp house, Currently working from home doing accounting. Hobbies are hemp/upcycle/sustainable clothing business and teaching Yoga. I have a full sewing room (fit with industrial machines)

We welcome positive people who are happy to stay in a shed with heater... very basic accomodation. Or BYO camping arrangement.

People who are willing to help with: land activities, some handy man jobs, Lifting, assisting with some 'two people' jobs that I can't do by myself, digging holes, spreading mulch, moving soil, planting seedlings, rending of hemp house.

My property is 2km west of Tenterfield with views north/ north east over the distant hills and Tenterfield. Its in bike riding distance to town and I can always assist if pick up or drop off to town is required.

Happy to teach things. Home herbalist and passion for herbs and plant healing.

I did mention 15 hours a week work but that is weather and ability and demand dependent. Im flexible

    Accommodation

Your own preferably. But i do have a shed which just needs a couple days of 're-arranging' to fix up the space so the bed can go down. There is no water yet and access to a outside loo. Outside shower is yet to be set up. But access to my own shower can be used no problem.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

The area is around 900m above sea level, 3 hour drive to Byron Bay and The Gold coast. (including the airport)
Tenterfield has 4 distinct seasons with wonderful national parks near by with rock climbing, and walking tracks and camping places. Bald Rock National Park is one of the biggest Granite mountains. Its a winery area also and a small town of around 4500 people with great cafes, pubs and a bar. all basic amenities and my property is 2km to town, in easy bike riding distance. Cooler in winter and certainly can be 10 degrees cooler than lower areas and coastal areas.

This is only if your pet is friendly, i have a bit of a nervous dog who takes some time to get used to visitors. Very loyal to me and she had a rough beginning so that 'nervousness' is still about. But she LOVEs company of other animals once they sort out whos boss...she tends to think she is sometimes especially with really big dogs as she's REALLY small :)
