Description
Danish family looking for help with teaching our daughter Freya riding on her pony and some painting outside, cleaning, gardening some cooking and teaching English and if possible french 😁 and walk with our small dog.
We are a friendly Danish family with 3 children. 15, 23, 26 years old, all girls. The 2 oldest daughters lives together with their boyfriends and have moved out.
I, Birgitte Work as a Project Manager in the retail and control the building of new shops and rebuilding and my husband Henrik are self-employed and works with ventilation.
We live in an old house from 1910 next to Frederiksborg Castle and in walking distance from shopping center with walking Streets and the train station. The train takes 35 minutes directly to Copenhagen Center. The house is with 4 stocks, basement, ground floor, 1 stock and 2 stocks.
You will get your own room with a lot of space, TV and Wi-Fi.
The help will be around 4 hours pr day 5 days a week, (weekends off),
We just bought a pony for Freya and She is called Cikorie, and she is 8 years old but still not very trained. It would be great if you have a good level in riding and could help our daughter a couple of times during the week and also be able to ride.
Cikorie is placed 15 minutes biking from our home in a little stable with 21 horses.
We only have to do the stable work every Thursday and every 4 Saturday.
Some work will also be cleaning, helping in the garden, cooking, painting wood houses in the garden and teaching English or French to Freya and help out with homework and other easy things.
Freya loves to play a game of card or board games and this can also be a way of learning her English.
Freyas English is quite good and she reads a lot of English Fantasy books.
The park is very nice to run in or just walk around even at winter time the castle is like a ferrytale. Henrik and I take salling lessons 1 Day pr week.
We eat all kinds of food and love to try new things, we prefers that you also are able to eat all types of food :) We are a non smoking Family.
We have a little dog Felix who loves a walk in the park close to the house.
If you speak English as your 1, this would be great.
We work during the day from early morning to afternoons. The most of the work you have to help with, will be during the day. The work is between 4 to 5 hours pr day Monday - Friday, so you can explore the surroundings and Copenhagen during weekends, or take a trip to London, Berlin or other during a weekend.
The family loves to meet new people from all over the world and is looking forward to hear from you. We will supply you with all meals when you are in our house.
We have only room for 1 workaway.

if you like to cook you can learn a lot about Danish food as we love making food from scratch. We can also tell a lot about Danish/Nordic culture and help you with the Danish language. We like to stay in touch with the people who has been in our home, if they also like too after their stay and some comes back a second time or just for a dinner if they are in Copenhagen. Please reed all the feedback as it will tell a lot how we are as a family and how you will benefit of a stay in our home

Lovely Nature with Carstle and close to Copenhagen the Capital of Denmark.
Hillerød is a very nice old city with walking streets and lovely restaurents.
30 min with train will bring you up to the cost where you will find the most lovely beach and nature or you can take the train to Copenhagen Center and see all the old Buildings and Towers, muserums, and just feel the Danish way of living.
