  Hello!! We are a family that lives in a farmhouse in the woods, in a small town in Girona (Massanes). Oriol (10) and Aina (7) are the youngest of the house, and the parents are Mireia i Carles. A dog (Duna) and two cats also live with us. The farm has a garden, orchard, chicken coop and one hectare of forest. Our family project is to live in nature, in a respectful way, taking advantage of the resources it gives us and trying to be more self-sufficient. We like to welcome people and make them feel at home, just as they have welcomed us on other occasions when we have traveled.
  We are looking for people to help us grow our project: in the rehabilitation of a space through bio-construction, in the orchard, in the garden, in the reform of the chicken coop, in the management and recovery of the forest, etc. On the other hand, we want to improve our English and that our children can learn it too. That is why we like to share some moments of the day with our guests and take the opportunity to chat.

  Somos una familia que vivimos en una masía en el bosque, en un pequeño pueblo de Girona (Massanes).
  Oriol (9) y Aina (6) son los pequeños de la casa, y los padres somos Mireia i Carles.
  También viven con nosotros una perra (Duna) y dos gatos.
  La finca dispone de jardín, huerto, gallinero y una hectarea de bosque.
  Nuestro proyecto familiar es convivir en la naturaleza, de forma respetuosa, aprovechando los recursos que nos da e intentar ser más autosuficientes.

  Somos una familia de mentalidad abierta, que nos gusta socializar y conocer gente nueva y de otras culturas. Nos gusta acoger a la gente y que sientan como en casa, tal y como nos han acogido a nosotros otras veces cuando hemos viajado.
  Buscamos personas que nos ayuden a hacer crecer nuestro proyecto: en la rehabilitación de un espacio mediante bio construcción, en el huerto, en el jardín, en la reforma del gallinero, en la gestión y recuperación del bosque, etc.
  Por otro lado, queremos mejorar nuestro inglés y que nuestros niños también puedan aprenderlo. Por eso nos gusta compartir con los huéspedes algunos momentos del día y aprovechar para conversar.

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  In our house you can enjoy living in the middle of nature, in a very quiet place, far from pollution. Although we are in a rural area, we have quite a social life with neighbors from other farmhouses. We often celebrate meetings, meals, outings... where you will be welcome!!
  
  En nuestra casa podréis disfrutar de vivir en plena naturaleza, en un lugar muy tranquilo, lejos de la contaminación.
  Aunque estamos en una zona rural, tenemos bastante vida social con vecinos de otras masías. A menudo celebramos encuentros, comidas, salidas…en las que seréis bienvenidos!!

  Help

  We are looking for 1 or 2 people. The tasks in which they can help us are: - bioconstruction with clay, wood, recycled materials - carpentry and masonry for home improvements or small auxiliary constructions - work in the garden - renovate the chicken coop - fix the garden - forest management ( cleaning and firewood) -… The help will be 4-5 hours a day, 5 days a week.
  
  
  Buscamos 1 o 2 personas. Las tareas en las que nos podrán ayudar son:
  - bioconstrucción con barro, madera, materiales reciclados
  - carpintería y albañilería para mejoras de la casa o pequeñas construcciones auxiliares
  - trabajar en el huerto
  - reformar el gallinero
  - arreglar el jardín
  - gestión del bosque (limpieza y leña)

  La ayuda será de 4-5 horas al día, 5 días a la semana.

  Accommodation

  Our priority is to reform a space in the house for the future accommodation of guests. In the meantime we offer our caravan as accommodation.
  
  We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. We can make dinner together and the rest of the meals will be free, although we will provide you with food for all meals.
  
  
  Nuestra prioridad es reformar un espacio de la casa para el futuro alojamiento de los huéspedes. Mientras tanto ofrecemos nuestra caravana como alojamiento.
  
  Ofrecemos desayuno, comida y cena.
  La cena podemos hacerla juntos y el resto de comidas, serán por libre, aunque os proporcionaremos los alimentos para todas las comidas.

  Nuestra casa está cerca de la estación de tren. A media hora de distancia de Gerona y de la playa y a una hora de Barcelona.
  Os dejamos bicicletas para poder desplazaros.
