    Description

At this 16century manor life goes at a slower pace. In the last decade the land around it has slowly been converted from farmland to nature/natural farming land. There is very large orchard with cherry, apple, nut, pear, plum trees. We need help with caring for the trees and picking and making conservable foods out of this. A lot of work in the garden is always necessary. Many hedges and trees and woodchopping. There are many flowerbeds that need tender love and care.

we have a dog and some chickens and some of the land is grazed by sheep or tiny ponies. We are a family consisting of myself, my 3 brothers my dad and a whole lot of extended partners/friends that come in and out all the time. Everyone can live at their own pace as we are all very different personalities.

The house is just outside of a small village. The village centre is within walking/biking distance and the land surrounding the house is bordering a natural park/reserve. We find it very important that we work towards a sustainable upkeep of the land and to contribute as much as we can to the local flora and fauna by designing the land in a way that it used to be a 100 years ago before heavy agriculture made a lot of the diversity go away. In the last few years we have seen a lot of plants and animals coming back. Think foxes, owls, pheasants, preying birds.

Tag along on the country life and learn skills with plants and trees. You are very free to do what you want. There are also nice things to enjoy like a swimming pool and a tennis court at the house. I perdonally practice a lot of yoga so I would be up for sharing that!. In the area there are beautiful walking paths/forests/waters and the like. The villages around are all very dutch idyllic and lovely to explore.

There is always lots to do but nothing has urgency.
