Description
Live, Breathe and Discover Ciociaria with Us.
Hi! My name is Matteo - I’m an entrepreneur and a certified Wim Hof Method instructor. I divide my time between running my family’s mattress manufacturing business and my passion project focused on wellness, breathwork, and nature. I'm sporty, curious, I love cooking, I play reggae music, and I enjoy meeting people from all over the world.
Where We Are
We live in a large house surrounded by greenery, just 1 km from the center of Frosinone, in the heart of Lazio. It's a peaceful place, but very well connected: you can reach Rome or the sea in 1 hour, the mountains in less than an hour, and Naples in about 1.5 hours. If you love nature but also want to explore culture and cities, this is the perfect balance.
Who You’ll Meet Here
We live in three separate apartments within the same villa:
– My father, who is quiet and keeps to himself
– My sister, a kind and reserved person
– Me, my Dutch partner, and our 4-year-old son (he’s quite lively 😄)
– Plus, a friendly dog who lives in the garden
What We Offer Workawayers
You’ll have a fully independent apartment with one double bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, and access to the pool during free time. You can cook, relax in the garden, and enjoy the silence and nature. You’ll feel free, but never alone.
What We Ask in Return
Some help around the house and garden: basic maintenance, taking care of plants, pool, and general household tasks. We need to keep the land around the house clean from overgrown vegetation - I can’t manage it all on my own. Nothing too heavy, but enough to lend a real hand and feel part of our little world. There is no commercial activity and no revenue involved.
Why Come Here?
I know beautiful places to explore nearby, even off the tourist path. If you like hiking, discovering small villages, trying real experiences (like breathwork, ice baths, or cooking together), you’ll find much more than just a help exchange here.
I can also help with transportation if you don’t have your own vehicle.
What You’ll Find
A human, simple, but inspiring environment. You might learn something new - about your breath, your body, or real life - while relaxing and discovering a part of Italy that few truly know.Types of help and learning opportunities

Our home is a mix of cultures, nature, and shared passions - and we love welcoming people from all over the world.
My partner is originally from the Dominican Republic, grew up in the Netherlands, and speaks four languages. Her international background brings a warm, open energy to our daily life.
I'm Italian, a Wim Hof Method instructor, sommelier, boxing coach, and I also practice grappling. I love sharing my passions - from cooking traditional meals to breathwork sessions, from a good glass of wine to training outdoors in nature.
You’ll also meet my quiet father, my kind sister, and our energetic 4-year-old son - plus a sweet dog in the garden. We live in separate apartments but share the same peaceful property, surrounded by greenery.
This is a chance to experience real Italian life outside the tourist track, and bring your own culture into the mix. Whether through food, music, breathwork, or sport, we love genuine exchanges and learning from our guests. You’ll feel part of something real, grounded, and human.Help
We’re looking for someone who enjoys being outdoors and getting their hands a little dirty — in a good way!
Most of the help we need is in maintaining the house and garden, especially keeping the outdoor areas clean and organized. Tasks include things like:
Watering and trimming plants
Collecting leaves and branches
Light painting or small projects
Keeping outdoor furniture and spaces tidy
Occasionally helping indoors with cleaning or organizing
some help in clearing vegetation and creating space in the surrounding area would be great. No heavy construction - just some good energy and a proactive attitude!
You won’t be alone - I’ll often be helping alongside you, and I’m happy to share skills, whether it’s gardening, cooking, or even breathing techniques and cold training if you're curious. If you enjoy learning by doing and being part of something that’s growing step by step, this will be a rewarding experience.
Flexibility is key - some days might be more relaxed, others more active depending on the season and weather. You’ll always have time to relax, enjoy the place, and explore the area.Languages

We're happy to do a language exchange! I speak Italian and I’m always happy to practice English or Spanish. My partner speaks Dutch, Spanish, English and Italian — so there’s always an opportunity to learn something new and have fun with different languages.Accommodation
You’ll be staying in a beautiful, peaceful home - it feels like a luxury holiday, but with soul.
We offer a private apartment with two large double bedrooms, a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and access to a pool and a spacious garden surrounded by nature.
As a mattress maker, I care deeply about comfort - and I promise you’ll be sleeping on high-quality, comfortable beds, not basic ones! The rooms are always clean, cozy, and full of natural light, with a lovely view of the green hills around us.
As for food: we usually cook at home, and I love sharing meals when possible. I buy only local, seasonal ingredients, mostly from small farmers and producers nearby. You’ll have full access to the kitchen if you enjoy cooking your own meals too.
It’s the kind of place where you can do tasks with your hands in the morning, rest by the pool in the afternoon, and eat a great meal in the evening - surrounded by peace and good energy. What else ...
In your free time, you can relax in the garden, swim in the pool, use the outdoor home gym, or explore beautiful nearby spots - small villages, rivers, hiking trails, or even the beach, the mountains, or Rome and Naples for a day trip.
If you don’t have a car, no worries - I can give you a ride to the train or bus station, so you can easily reach your chosen destinations. The city center is just 1km away and also walkable.
We live in a calm, natural environment, so we appreciate respect for the space and for others in the home. No smoking inside, please.
We’re easygoing and friendly - we love sharing meals, music, and stories, but we also respect your personal time and space. Our goal is to make you feel welcome, free, and at home.A little more information
