  Description

  I am a trained early childhood educator and dance pedagogue with many years of professional experience working with children. I also have extensive experience as a dog trainer and dog physiotherapist, and I work with therapy dogs.
  
  I currently live in a rural area in the Canary Islands, quite far from the nearest town. I love the nature and the quietness, but I also miss having regular human contact and meeting people from different backgrounds. This is one of the main reasons why I enjoy the idea of Workaway: for me, it is much more about cultural exchange, sharing everyday life and getting to know each other than simply about help.
  
  I love sharing what I know with people who are genuinely interested. If you are interested in dogs, canine movement, therapy-dog work, education, children's development, dance or creative activities, I am happy to share my knowledge and experiences with you. You don't need to have any previous experience – curiosity and an open mind are much more important to me.
  
  I also travel with my small therapy dog, who is trained as a therapy dog. He is a big part of my life, and I enjoy finding playful ways to combine dogs, communication, movement and learning.

  During your stay, you'll participate in private outdoor projects on our property and enjoy Fuerteventura's nature.
  
  At the same time, I am very interested in learning from other people. I would love to experience different ways of living, learn about other cultures and perspectives, and especially discover how education and everyday life with children are approached in different countries.
  
  For me, a good Workaway experience means that both sides give something and both sides learn something. I am happy to contribute my time, experience and practical skills, but I also hope to become part of everyday life, have conversations, share meals, explore the surroundings together and simply enjoy having good people around me.

  I also have experience working in schools with language programs for children, using playful and interactive methods. While this isn’t a formal class, I’m happy to practice languages in a fun way, share games and activities, and help you improve your Spanish (or English) while spending time here. This makes your stay more than just volunteering with dogs and outdoor work—it’s a chance to learn, share, and connect through language in a relaxed, informal setting.

  If you choose to camp during your stay, I provide a tent, mattress and bedding.
  You will have your own comfortable sleeping space and can enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings. I will make sure that everything you need for camping is ready for you when you arrive.

  This property is great for digital nomads. I’ve lived in a van myself for several years and can share tips about van life, self-sufficient living, and working remotely while enjoying nature. You’ll have a peaceful outdoor space to work, plus the chance to be part of a friendly dog-loving environment on Fuerteventura.

  You’re welcome to park your van on the property! I can share my experience of living in a van and give practical advice for life on the road, including comfort, water, and electricity. It’s a unique opportunity to combine hands-on work, outdoor life, and time with our friendly dogs while enjoying Fuerteventura.

  Can possibly accept pets

  If you’re coming with your own pet, they are welcome! We have a friendly dog environment, and I can help your pet feel comfortable and safe while here. This is a chance for your pet to socialize with other dogs and enjoy the spacious, relaxed outdoor environment of the pension.
