It is just me and my husband, Richard, 6 dogs, 8 horses, and 2000 sheep. We run a horse trekking business and require help to run our home. Tasks will include, meal planning, cooking for ourselves, shopping, answering the phones, cleaning and updating our social media profiles. EXperienced horse riders can also help with getting horses ready and riding out to help on treks .
We are on a large sheep station remotely located in the beautiful Baton Valley not far from Nelson, South Island, NZ. If you do not have your own transport we would be happy to collect you from the Nelson area.

Help in the house
We are an original sheep farm with the chance for visitors to experience the Kiwi culture first hand. We have plenty of sheep shearing to be done so workawayers can get involved, there may also be opportunities to help with the horses and treks on occasions. Richard is a bush poet so many evenings may also be spent around the camp fire .
We are keen to find helpers who can run our home and prepare meals for both us and themselves. Help will also include answering the phone and taking bookings for the horse treks (so good English skills are essential), shopping and uploading pictures and updates to our social media updates.experience horse people can help with the horses and ride on treks
