Description
We (Tobias, Sarah and baby Moya) are trying to live a selfsuficient farmlife. We had a set back due to the wildfires in october 2017 in which some of our buildings and the solar system burned. But we are still here and going strong! Our goal is to get off the grid again as soon as possible. During summer we are running an alternative campsite that works with free donations. it is all about the companionship.
2019 is a busy year filled with inspiring projects: finishing our ecological building out of rammed earth, landscaping the communal ´camping´ area, planting the summer gardens, organising our festival, building a bathroom with compost toilets. If you´d like to be part of any of these projects please read on or get in touch about the availability during your traveltime. We prefer volunteers for longer periods of time with a minimum of 2 weeks.
Some keywords that are important for us are: sharing, ecological awareness, nature, being who you are, teamspirit, proactive, energetic, motivated.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Volunteers who become part of us will meet many like~minded people from all over the world. We learn about life from each other. More specific skills can be learned through many of the tasks that are to be performed.
Sarah loves turning our abundant harvest into delicious vegetarian meals and would love to help you get creative with produce too! Tobias is a skilled electrician and passionate builder with ecological materials. He´d be happy to teach anyone with a genuine interest!Projects involving children
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
Help
From March onward we are opening our doors, welcoming motivated people with lots of energy and a drive to create a lasting impact!
General tasks that always need doing include taking care of the animals, landcleaning, wood chopping and gardening. Next to those things there´s always some project going on asking for more specific tasks. We do our best to fit the right person to a job so please inform us about your skills and interests!
We have started the build of our new communal livingspace made from rammed earth last year. This year we´ll be finishing it and we can use a lot of help with that! From april onward we´ll be busy lanscaping around the building. This project will be coordinated by a motivated group of young architects, builders and enthusiasts who will be here between the 8th and the 30th of April (2019). There is need for people who love getting their hands dirty and like to be part of a motivated, energetic group reaching a goal together. Next to building and landscaping we also need help on the farm during this time. Its the time of garden preparation and cultivating seedlings. For kitchen enthusiasts we have a place as well since all these wonderful volunteers need to eat 3 times a day too! Please get in touch if you want to be a part of this!
For the summer season (June-September) we are looking for a long-term volunteer with good cooking skills and experience in a proffesional kitchen. We offer you the freedom to be creative and the opportunity to cook with mostly biological produce from our abundant garden. Most of the cooking will be done outside on a woodstove and with a beautiful view over our land, making it a special experience. You will have people assisting you if needed. If you can stay for a minimum of 6 weeks, we would love to hear from you!
2-3-4 August we are organising a small scale family oriented festival. For 3 days our land is transformed into a colourful playground with workshops, music and childrenactivities. The month before the festival will be all about building up structures, fireproving the land and other organisational tasks. If you can be part of our team 2 weeks before the start of the festival, we´d love to have you as part of the festival crew as well. Are you an (music) artist eager to perform? Please get in touch!!Languages spoken
