Description
We are a young family building a yoga retreat space In Lagoa da Conceição at the foot of a 'morro' filled with tropical trees and plants. The area of the land is over 1500m2. We are looking for one or two volunteers with a pair of strong hands to help complete the yoga platform. This will involve assisting with some woodwork and moving around and holding windows in place etc Depending on your capabilities and enthusiasm there maybe some independent projects as well. The nearest town is Lagoa da Conceição on the island of Florianópolis which is 10 mins walk. Joaquina beach is also walking distance... but there are great beaches everywhere. The house is submersed in the forest so it is fairly quiet..but we do like music so musicians as well as yoga practitioners are extra welcome.

We are Portuguese, English and Spanish speakers. In this location you are immersed in the local culture but also have access to beautiful touristic locations on the island. We are in a great area close to the lake. You could also do paid work in the afternoons or evenings.

We are looking for 1 or 2 volunteers (can be a couple....as you will share a kitchenet), to help with completing the decking, gardening....some cooking and cleaning
