    Description

*On the lookout for someone to land sit for the 2024 season.
3-6 months commitment, speak basic Spanish and basic handy person skills.
Any calling for that position, please write.*

    Greetings 😊

    ~ Intro

Ready for a rugged collaborative experience?
Great opportunity to learn hands on basics of land stewardship and infrastructure implementation.

Here is a small 1900 square meters, low tech. minimalist rancho, 35 minute forest walk from Mazunte center with stunning sea view.

Populated with a usual bunch of happy campers, the place is perfect for proactive, autonomous beings open to share, live and learn in the opens.

    ~ Intention

To co-create a demonstrative, in sitiu, loving and caring platform striving towards empowerment, sovereignty, agency, resilience and independence through reappropriation of basic life skills.
We impart, observe and infuse these values and teachings through creating ever-growing harmony, comfort, functionality and aesthetics for us and further participants.

The system lives and calls for agents with great capacity to maintain presence in action, understanding thoroughly and long-sightedly the impact of their actions on every component of the systems they interact with.
With this vision, a proactive attitude of service, as a conscious agent of the system, comes forth, leaving it better than how it's been found.

    ~ Activities and schedule (Flexible)

We dedicate 2 daily hours of service to the land + 1 for small cleaning and householding tasks
With hours of service being kept to minimal, we ask everyone to bring food for sharing.
This serves for everyone to dedicate more quality time for connection, introspection, personal projects and beach.

Before 8am : Optional daily practice

8am : Breaky prep and breaky

9am-11am : Help - After that the heat lowers enthusiasm drastically

11am : lunch prep, light householding, cleaning chores

The entire environment acts and serve as an art canvas; every object plays its role and can further the beauty of the place.
An overarching system intelligence teaches constantly to the one who obrserves intentfully, wanting to learn. Max is also here to answer questions and point out all the interdependance intricacies of the system's elements

    • Beautifying - kitchen and fire space; tidy, sweeping, raking, feng shui, flowers, plants, etc..

    ~ Community profile

Qualities that stand out are proactiveness, willingness and enthusiasm to serve.
Friends with understanding and experience with permaculture systems (care of fruit trees, grey water system, able to use tools and make fires quickly) are HIGHLY welcome.
After one season of openness and saying yes to all, for the benefit of the collective and individuals, it has been observed that beings with experience in community living and basic camp skills, cooking and manual, long with high responsability and accountability create more synergy.
