    Description

    Hi, I’m Hilde.

I’m a mother, grandmother and therapist. I live in the village three days a week and spend the other four days working in a small city.

I’ve always felt that nature can be a powerful space for healing and connection. Rather than sitting with people for one-hour sessions, I’m interested in creating a space where we can work, walk, create and simply be in nature together. That’s why I’m slowly building a place in the village where I can welcome people.

There’s a vegetable garden that provides food throughout the year, a forest to care for, wood to work with, a play area for children to create, fruit to dry, crafts to make… There’s always something happening, and I genuinely enjoy it all.

At the same time, I’m realizing that it’s becoming a little too much to do on my own. I’d love to share this place and the work with people who enjoy being outdoors, creating things, learning, and contributing.

I’m not really a small-talk person. I’m quite happy in my own company and value quietness and meaningful conversations. But I love learning from other people and sharing what I know when it can be useful to someone.

    Workawayers aren't doing bussiness activities.

I’m looking forward to meeting people who feel at home with this kind of way of living and being.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We’re located in a small village, so having a car is necessary.

I can share my knowledge and experience in mindfulness and yoga, living in harmony with nature, gardening, and making natural body creams. As a physiotherapist, psychologist and energy therapist, I can also share different approaches to caring for and healing the mind and body.

And I’d really love to improve my rather poor French!

  • Help

    Help

I like people to get involved with whatever is happening during their stay. The help changes with the seasons, so there is always something different to do.

During my long weekends in the village, there is always help to be done in the vegetable garden, such as weeding, harvesting, and processing food. I’m also busy building a chicken coop and renovating a stable. Wood needs to be cut, too...

With all of this and more, you can help out, learn new things, and enjoy the experience.

And a walk and yoga is also on the list.

Depending on the season, you can sleep in a tent or in the apartment we’re currently building.

Around 80% of the food we eat is grown in the garden. We also have fresh eggs and organic meat once a week.

We always share lunch together, usually around 2 o’clock. Breakfast and dinner are optional — you can share them or eat on your own.

Everything is available and ready to pick straight from the garden.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

During the three days I’m in the village, I’m usually busy with different things, both outdoors and indoors, and you’re welcome to join me .

At noon, we can cook and eat together, and if you’d like to have a free afternoon, there are many beautiful walking routes nearby. To explore places further away, you’ll need a car.

I don’t smoke and I prefer not to have tabac and alcohol use around the house. Unfortunately, I can’t accommodate pets.

The region offers a lot of freedom, peace and space, and it’s truly beautiful.
