Description
We live in Finland, in the most northern Lapland. We live in the middle of the Sami culture in a tiny village of mainly young reindeer herders. We have a farm with reindeer and horses, also dogs, and could use some help with the animals.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Sami people are a small group of original people in the North. We have our own language and rich culture with for example special handicraft and knowhow about reindeer, about how to live in the hard climate. Spending some weeks or months in our village would teach you some of these skills. Sami language you will hear around you every day.
Help
Wintertime we have lots of work with the reindeer. That is why we could use some extra help with our horses and with the reindeer, too. Feeding the horses, cleaning the stable, taking the horses out and back in the stable. Horse back riding is possible. The reindeer work is done together with us and other reindeer owners.
