Description
Time of Employment: December 10th 2024 to End of March 2025 (It is essential you join for the full season, not only a portion).
Our names are Adam and Kate and we run an 11 room boutique ski lodge in Nagano Japan! We are looking for amazing individuals to join our team who have experience in service- especially as a chef and cleaning team members. Adam is originally from Australia and Kate is originally from California. We have lived in NYC, Sydney, Tokyo, and now the mountains. We are passionate about hosting guests and creating memorable snow experiences for our guests. Come join us!

We will offer the opportunity to live and work in Japan all while enjoying skiing and snowboarding and making international friends and connections! My husband and I (the owners) have been living and working in Japan for almost 5 years now. We are very tied to the Tangram Madarao community and will foster your connections to the local community as we will be onsite working alongside you every day. You will be able to learn about the history of the area, local foods and specialties, as well as enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings that Nagano has to offer.

We are looking for:
- People with extensive experience as a chef and someone who is detail oriented and would want to join our cleaning team.
- We pay 1000 JPY an hour (this is before tax and is above Nagano minimum wage). If you have ample experience we can discuss payment amounts.

Employee accommodation - newly renovated and spacious. Accommodation is included in your package and it is onsite.

You will be provided with a season pass for skiing and snowboarding if you stay on for the season! There is so much to do and see in the surrounding area and the food is incredible in this part of Nagano!
