  Welcome to our home in Charente-Maritime! 🌿☀️
  
  We are a joyful and dynamic family living in the countryside, near the charming town of Jonzac in Charente-Maritime. We have four children: Arthur (12), Alix (11), Augustin (8), and Anatole (6) — all curious, full of energy, and excited to meet someone from another part of the world!
  
  We’re looking for a Workawayer to give us a hand with daily life: a bit of help around the house, some playtime with the kids, and joining in our family life. Nothing too demanding — just a spirit of sharing and mutual support!
  
  Our main goal this summer is to practice English naturally, while offering you a full immersion in French culture. And if you'd like to learn some French, we’d be happy to help! This is, above all, a human and cultural exchange.
  
  We live in a house surrounded by nature, with a large garden, open fields, and many lovely walks nearby. Jonzac is a pleasant little town with a thermal spa, a castle, a water park, and typical French markets. The ocean isn't far, and we'd love to show you around the region.
  
  We love cooking, spending time together as a family, doing DIY projects, gardening, and simply enjoying life. We also run a small craft beer business if you’re curious to learn more about that!
  
  If you love the countryside, children, and want to experience real French family life, you are more than welcome to join us!

  With us, cultural exchange happens naturally through daily life. By sharing meals, activities, and family time, you'll get a true taste of French culture — the language, food, lifestyle, and the rhythm of rural life. In return, we’re excited to learn about your culture, your language, your traditions, and maybe even your favorite recipes!
  
  There will be many opportunities to connect: playing with the kids, going for walks in nature, cooking together, exploring local villages, visiting farmers’ markets, or just enjoying relaxed evenings with games or music. We live simply but fully, and we’d love to include you in our everyday life.
  
  We’re also happy to share our knowledge and skills: helping you practice French, cooking homemade meals, gardening, doing small DIY projects, and even teaching you how to brew craft beer — we run a small family brewery!
  
  By welcoming a Workawayer, we hope to create a real connection, enjoy a meaningful experience, and open our children (and ourselves!) to new languages, ideas, and cultures. For us, this kind of exchange is a real human adventure and a great source of enrichment.

  Accommodation

  We live in a spacious, welcoming house with a wooden extension, surrounded by the countryside. The house has 6 bedrooms and a large 2000 m² garden — perfect for relaxing, playing, or gardening. The Workawayer will have their own private room for comfort and privacy. We usually share meals together as a family when everyone is home, in a friendly and easygoing atmosphere.
