    Description

I am a mom of a 6 years old boy who wants to live very close to natural style of living. We like to make many things by our hands, play with the soil, plants, we like natural healthy foods. I traveled around the world as a volunteer on many permaculture farms and I like to learn about different cultures and teach directly about them to kids in a small Mayan village which I call my home. With the project I would like to have an intercultural exchange and support the idea of building a better future for our world and our kids.

You can get a cultural interchange with the kids, be able to teach them what you like and specialize in, enrich the Mayan culture and get to know it more closely! We can teach you more about gardening and eco building.

    Help

We are planning an education project for kids from Mayan village and the plan is to be as much sustainable as we can. We want to be able to grow our own food and build eco-friendly buildings. You would be asked to teach workshops for kids, or maintain the garden, build spaces for teaching, maybe cooking, first volunteers would be asked to help us improve our spaces for accommodating people.

Our site is only 15 mins away from popular El Cuyo beach, you can take local bus or we can settle together on driving you around. There are also some nice cenotes around (local “lakes”), we can show you around houses of locals and you can directly learn and experience Mayan culture.
