    Description

This is a permaculture LANDstarter center where biodiversity, natural cultivation and wildlife welfare are in focus.

We are looking for a responsible couple/friends to come and stay at our center.

We aim to be certified as a Permaculture LANDcenter in 2020, so we need a lot of help to get the center up running.

The center has almost 2ha, located between Ringsted and Soroe in the Middle of Sealand, about 1½ hour by train and bus from Copenhagen.

The center is close to a small forrest at the end of a small country road.

On the center we produce a small amount of vegetables according to the principle of permaculture. We also have berry bushes, as well as fruit and nut trees. All these are available from a foodforrest, that we are about to establish.

Our meadows are designed for different kind of microecosystems, giving space for different kind of wildlife. We have a small area with an wooden shelter and place for campfires. Here we have activities within the area of nature/ culture/ health.

Tonie is ranger, teacher and coordinator on the project. This project also has some key volunteers joining for help and activities in some weekends during the year.

Max is a ranger as well and takes huge interest in biology. Danish as well as in other countries.

As we invite travellers to participate as a family member in our household it is very important that you are open and friendly person who want to invest yourself in our daily life. You must take great interest and responsibility for our wildlife and its welfare and be interested in permaculture and countryside life. We are not interested in people who just want a place they can stay for free while they apply for their holiday visa.

We want to have a one week trial on your stay. If everything works out for both of us you are welcome to stay, if not we will ask you to find another host and give you a week to find another place to stay. Unfortunately sometimes the chemistry just doesn´t work out or travellers have difficulties helping more than 3 hour a day and that just don´t work out for us.
