We are a busy, lively family living in the Northern countryside of the Netherlands on a farm (with no farming business). We could use some help with our kids (10,10,7,3 years old) and would love to show around our beautiful Dutch country and culture. If you are able to help out with the kids, and hopefully teach them some English, appr. 3 days a week. You (and a frend ?) will find a great place to stay in summer and you can wander around our country. We live 20 km North from the city of Groningen, a lively student city. Having a drivers license would be good to get around. We have a spare and private guest-room ans food/drinks is of course included. For us it would be great to find someone joining our family for now/asap till end august/beginning of September, during our summer holidays. We don't aspect you to work you ass off, but to join in and help out. So we can have some slack in busy times and you take the chance to get to know the Netherlands.
We think most suitable your age is 20 years and up. Together or alone is fine.
We are positive, easy going, enthusiastic and always keen on new adventures
Covid-19 is around in the Netherlands, we have restrictions (no big events, shopping only on your own, 1,5 meter distance in public), but it doesn't really effect our family life and shops/bars/campings etc are opening up again. Also we don't have any cases in our area. Of course we pay attention and obey the rules, but there is no big worry.
Babysitting and creative play
Help around the house
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
Get in touch with our family life, get to know our country and culture.
Make fun and spend time with the kids, so we (mom and dad) have some extra time to do work or go out with 1 / 2 kids orso. For us it is just great to have an extra set of hands. Would be great to learn the kids some english by talking to them. Make sure you enjoy our great countryside and look around
