  • Description

Tropical Paradise - Current openings starting April 2021. Prefer workers that have been on island at least 10 days (past quarantine period) or with recent negative COVID Pretest. Couples welcome. Come join us. Aloha

We are a small (4 acre) family farm located one block from the ocean on the Big Island (Opihikao area), which is one of the most tropical and abundant areas on the island. We have exotic fruit trees, as well as pineapple and vegetable gardens. While fairly remote and buried in the jungle, everything you need is easily accessible, with beaches, swim spots, farmers markets and local stores within walking or short hitch hiking distance. We go into town often (Pahoa and Hilo) and would be glad to drop you off. There are buses from Pahoa to Hilo and beyond. Close by there is Kehena Black Sand Beach (clothing optional) - 4 miles; New Pohoiki Black Sand Beach & Lava flow - 4 miles: Uncle Roberts Wednesday Night Market (entertainment and food) - 5 miles; and Hawaiian Sanctuary (Yoga, dancing, horticulture classes) - 6 miles. Pahoa town (grocery store and restaurants ) - 9 miles; Hilo (beaches, restaurants, mall and beautiful bay) - 35 miles and rest of the Big Island for exploring (e.g, zip lines, flume rides, 4 wheel adventure, water falls and beaches). Having a car for exploring the island is a plus.
