  Description

  Hi, we have a big sunny farmhouse on the river in a village near Lismore and Ballina which is about 30 minutes to the coast, and an hour to Byron Bay, in Northern NSW. It is a beautiful area and the farm is only ten minutes from town where there are cafes, music, markets, galleries and waterfalls. It is a great area. We are doing bushcare and planting koala trees plus some building and painting and lots of weeding. There are wallabies, koala's (if you can find them) and abundant birdlife. We hope to establish some permaculture vegetable plots. We are Super hosts on the main short stay platform. A general day starts at 8, morning tea at 10ish and then finish by 12.30. I'm happy to show you some sights or you can take off on your own adventures. You will need your own transport and good references.
  A normal work day would start at 8 or 9am, depending on your preferences, and finish four hours later with a morning tea break. That way you can spend the afternoon exploring the area.

  We can offer bushcare training and show you around the area. There are some beautiful sights. We would love your help making some vegetable plots to become more self sufficient.

  We would love to meet people who like being outdoors to do weeding, planting, mowing and general bush regeneration. Maybe some gardening and help repairing the stables or painting.

  A big room in a spacious, sunny farmhouse with a saltwater pool, unlimited internet, peaceful surroundings and air-conditioning.
  Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided and you are also welcome to cook, if you choose to. The kitchen is very well equipped and the local food producers we buy from are both unique and inspiring.

  There are many beautiful places like waterfalls, rivers and beaches in this area and a really vibrant arts scene. The farmers markets, art gallery and local music festivals are great, please visit . You will need a car if you want to be independant.
