  🏡 A little home in Cartagena, a lot of life to share
  Hi! I’m Leticia, 48 years old, and I live in Cartagena, Murcia, with my two children, Alba and Víctor, aged 10 and 11.
  We’re a lively, close-knit family and we’re looking for someone who would like to become part of our home for a while — not just to look after the children, but to share experiences, languages, food, culture and everyday life with us. ❤️
  I have a small business focused on clothing, second-hand fashion, decoration and accessories, where we also organise creative workshops such as jewellery making, painting clothes and making soaps, as well as tastings and other fun activities. I also work from home as an accounting and tax advisor, so I have a busy but very varied life.
  The children go to school and do extracurricular activities, and we usually get home around 5:30 p.m. They have lunch at school and we enjoy having dinner together as a family.
  I’m looking for someone who can help me with the children at least three afternoons a week and occasionally at weekends, and who would enjoy spending time with them while helping them practise English naturally through games, conversations and everyday life.
  In return, I’d love to share Spanish with you too! I speak English and would really enjoy having someone at home with whom I can practise it.
  I’m a friendly, open-minded, cheerful and easy-going person. I’m also a smoker, but I never smoke inside the house, out of respect for my children.
  You would have your own private bedroom and bathroom, as well as access to all the common areas of our home. And, of course, plenty of opportunities to enjoy everything Cartagena has to offer: sunshine, beaches, history, culture, great food, local markets, festivals and a very lively atmosphere. ☀️🌊🍷
  Most importantly, we’re not looking for a “babysitter”. We’d love to welcome someone who wants to feel at home, get to know our family, improve their Spanish and share their own culture and language with us.

  You will have your own private room and the opportunity to enjoy our home as your own. You can explore Cartagena’s history, culture, beaches, local markets, gastronomy and vibrant social life.
  You will also have the chance to share your own culture and language with us, while learning about Spanish traditions, food and everyday life. We would love this to be a genuine cultural exchange where everyone learns from each other, makes memories and feels part of the family.
  
  Vivir con nuestra familia será una gran oportunidad para conocer la cultura española desde dentro, practicar español cada día y descubrir el estilo de vida de Cartagena y la Región de Murcia.
  Tendrás tu propia habitación y podrás disfrutar de nuestra casa como si fuera la tuya. Podrás descubrir la historia, la cultura, las playas, los mercados, la gastronomía y la vida social de Cartagena.
  Además, tendrás la oportunidad de compartir tu propia cultura y tu idioma con nosotros, mientras conoces nuestras tradiciones, nuestra gastronomía y nuestra forma de vivir el día a día.   Accommodation

  Our home is a large, comfortable house located very close to Cartagena city centre. We have four bedrooms and two bathrooms.
  You will have your own private bedroom, with a comfortable bed, wardrobe, desk and internet/Wi-Fi connection. You will also have access to the shared areas of the house and, of course, feel free to make yourself at home.
  It’s a great location for enjoying everything Cartagena has to offer, with shops, restaurants, cultural activities and the city centre just a short walk away.
  
  Nuestra casa es una vivienda grande y cómoda, situada muy cerca del centro de Cartagena. Tenemos cuatro dormitorios y dos baños.
  Tendrás tu propia habitación privada, con cama, armario, escritorio y conexión a internet/Wi-Fi. También podrás utilizar las zonas comunes de la casa y, por supuesto, sentirte como en tu propia casa.
  Es una ubicación estupenda para disfrutar de todo lo que ofrece Cartagena, con tiendas, restaurantes, actividades culturales y el centro de la ciudad a pocos minutos andando.
