Description
We are an empty nest couple in our fifties. We like to interact with our guests by playing board games or talking about your culture. There are many beautiful sights to see in the Cowichan Valley and we would love to share them with you. Husband works shift work.

Opportunity to stay in the beautiful Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island - full of hiking trails, wineries, and outdoor beauty. Live with a couple who have hosted several international students and love to learn about the rest of the world.

Our main area of help needed at this time is landscaping and some home improvements.

Accommodation
Depending on the number in your group we have accommodation in several different bedroom arrangements. One room had two single beds, one has a double, and one has a queen. The house has two bathrooms which are shared with the hosts. We will provide food but it tends to be help yourself for breakfast and lunch with a home cooked dinner.
What else ...
Lots of local hiking trails, wineries, quaint downtown shopping. One hour north of Victoria. Depending on their schedule the hosts are willing to do some driving if necessary.

Tammy showed us around when ever she could and we got to see a lot around Duncan . Watching ice hockey in the evening and always time for a joke with Rick -work smart not hard :D.( I will always remember that ;))
