I’m a 30 year old woman from Norway. I usually work as a software developer, but I’m taking a year off to travel through Australia, New Zealand, and South Asia. I'm exploring workaway as a way to connect with like minded people, learn new skills, and spend my time helping out in meaningful ways while getting deeper into local culture.

I’m fit and energetic, and not afraid of physical labor or getting mud under my nails. Whether it’s farm tasks, animal care, gardening, or helping around the house, I’m happy to be useful. I'm a quick learner, work well in a team, but is also happy to get in the zone working by myself. I'm good at finding what needs to be done and don't just sit around waiting to get instructions.

I've been a vegetarian for almost 15 years, but I am not difficult about it. If needed, I'll fix my own vegetarian alternatives where necessary, and I don't mind cooking meat for others to eat. I prefer living healthy and try to eat as little processed food as possible.

In my free time I like to explore both cities and nature, train (mainly crossfit, road biking, running, or yoga/mobility), work on software projects, or enjoy the company of other people or animals. I'm easy going, calm, and love to get to know people on a deeper level.

I don't smoke or drink, and I am very respectful of other people in the household. I prefer early mornings and bedtime, but I always go out of my way to keep quiet so as to not wake anyone.

I have previously bought and renovated a house (some garden work, but mainly internal plastering and painting as well as tearing down some walls), so I'm always happy to help out with any paint or plastering job! I'm also fit and strong, and love getting my hands dirty and using my fitness for good.
In addition, I've had multiple dogs, and did a lot of training with them in different canine sports. I also rode horses from the age of 7-18 and I would love to connect with horses again.
In addition I have a masters degree in AI and works as a software developers, so I am very proficient when it comes to computer help.
