 - Description- Hi,
We are Ghita and Diego and together with our little child, we live in an old stone house in the alps in a small and quite valley called Valle Sacra.
We already renovated a part of the house, but we still have many things to do inside and outside.
We have a lot of land and we want to create a big vegetable gardens for our homegrown food.
We already have some soil ready for planting.
I would appreciate some help in the kitchen sometimes, or help to keep and eye on the kid. The house requires a lot of day to day maintenance, and we realised that just the two of us plus having the little child around who needs cares and presence, sometimes is not enough for all the tasks to do .
During the winter we cook mainly on the stove, wich means that every day we need to carry wood in the house for heating and for cooking.
Diego does the wood from the forest by himself, cutting with the chainsaw, carrying the wood close to the house and chopping it.
In our house we are vegetarian.
The food you will find is simple and natural.
I make sourdough bread, and sometimes homemade pizza.
My dream is to build a proper oven outside for the pizza!

We live in the middle of the woods but the village is super close and in 20/30 minutes you can reach the other towns for grocery, shopping, train station , bank ecc..
we have 2 cars, means that if there is a need you can borrow one or ask us to take you somewhere.
In one hour and half you can reach the metropolitan city of Torino.
If you like hiking and walking this is the perfect place. We are sorrounded by mountains, paths, and beautiful forests. In 40 minutes we can reach Gran Paradiso national park.
There is also a nice creek 10 minutes from house house, where we go in summer.
 - Help- Me and Diego we are very easy going and spontaneous, we sometimes do the works together but mostly we are focusing one different areas. Diego is usually building , chopping woods or working outside. I often do the kitchen part and I take care of the house and the general maintenance.
I love cooking but I would appreciate some help in the kitchen sometimes, or help to keep and eye on the kid.
We need a lot of help with the general day to day tasks (light cleaning around, moving some wood, making the outside a bit nicer, collect the rubbish from the worksite. We want to build a compost toilet soon , so maybe some help on that. Cutting woods, screwing ecc.)
Everyday there is something and we appreciate also tips or some creative ideas!
Every art and creativity is welcome!!! Here everything is brand new and the place need a lot of energy, care and love.
When the vegetable garden will be ready also some help with the plants.
You will find a board with the tasks, but everything can be decided and discussed day by day, depending on weather and moods :)

 We also have a marvellous
You will stay in a cute cozy renovated roulotte!!! With water, camping gas, stuff for breakfast , towels, sheets… books , whatever.
You will share every meal with us if you want, and the kitchen is always available for your needs. If you prefer to stay by your own is totally understandable: but to be clear : if it’s a short stay, please be present.
We are vegetarian and we don’t eat or buy meat. You will not find meat in our kitchen. Feel free to eat whatever you want but please don’t cook meat inside our kitchen.
We love wine and beers and we are happy to drink it together, but we do want to keep a safe space also for our kid, so we don’t like to exaggerate.
Also we don’t have problem with smoke. We smoke outside the house and we do not smoke in the yurt.
Please don’t smoke inside the roulotte. Create your smoking area somewhere outside.
We don’t want to have people with addiction. We have kids around.
 - What else ...- During the morning you can help around and stay with us, we can also decide to work in the afternoon and using the morning for other activities, for example visiting some place , go grocery together, go in the river for swimming and bathing. Organise some fires in the evening… make some pizza night.. play instruments.
We will pick you up at the train station if you come by public transport.
We don’t have specific rules in the house but keep in mind that in the house lives a baby, so we want to keep a respectful atmosphere for everyone. :)
