We are busy family of 4 on a little hobby farm in Murphys Creek. Myself (Rebecca),husband and two boys, 5 & 6 who are both at school. Toowoomba is the largest inland regional city in Australia and is an easy 20min drive.
We have 40 acres with a Jersey cow for milk, chickens for eggs, sheep to cuddle, a large St Bernard and Alaskan Malamute to play with, open top treehouse to star gaze at night and a decent pub just down the road.
Our boys will no doubt want you to play on the trampoline and have nurf gun battles every day. If you don’t enjoy children or animals, this is not the place for you.
I have a good size aquaponics setup in a greenhouse that I need help looking after.
I recently started a full time job and unfortunately I’m struggling to keep up.
We are looking for people who are keen to learn aquaponics and how to maintain a healthy system or someone who has a sound knowledge already.
You must love animals, especially dogs and be a social person.
We would require you to do odd jobs around the farm such as gardening, tidying and feeding animals. Also helping with every day general tidying/cleaning of the house would be amazing.
We need you to be open to learning how to milk the cow with a machine, as this would be your task in the afternoons :)
We love food and to cook. If you like to/can cook, that would be a bonus for our tastebuds 😃
You must be a non smoker and have excellent hygiene standards.

I love to cook. We eat dinner together, as a family, around 6pm each night.
We are a 20min drive outside of Toowoomba in a place called Murphys Creek. With this in mind, having your own transport is a must, unless you are content with staying on the property.
There is a pub which do tasty meals just 2 mins drive away.
Toowoomba has many parks and gardens to explore, hiking destinations nearby and great shopping, food and nightlife.
