We are a middle aged couple who live on a small farm close to Trondheim in Norway. We live together with four horses, two cats and a dog. Our operation is about horse assisted therapy, and all our horses are involved in this. Anita is a psychologist and Bjørn Otto is an architect who loves to play the guitar. It is always a lot of work to do on the farm, and in 2018 we are going to change our fencing on the riding arena, among other projects with the older buildings like painting and changing cladding on the barn wall.
The travelers may learn about communication with horses, traditional Norwegian architecture, culture and history. There are a lot of interesting historical sites in this region, and we would love to show you some of these. If you play an instrument or like to sing, Bjørn Otto would love to do some jamming.
Practical experience with hammer and saw is required. Painting and maintenance are also part of the tasks on the farm. We want people who love animals and especially horses.
