Description
We have travelled widely ourselves before settling in NZ and love hearing your stories and sharing ours too. Happy to spend time pointing you to places of interest - local beaches, rivers, walking tracks and fishing spots. We have one cat, who is a bit dippy but very friendly. Otherwise there is lots of birdlife around the gardens to wake you in the morning – it would suit those who like a quiet space to recharge.

We love to share our experiences of travelling and have been in NZ for 20 years. We like to share meals and cook recipes and food you may not have experienced before. We have a large workshop and carve stone for sculptures and there is always the opportunity to have a go, Lots of great places to explore from beaches to ranges and we can point you in the right direction to discover things that are of interest to you.
Projects involving children
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
Help
We have a large garden with orchard and hazelnut grove. We currently need help picking and sorting hazelnuts as the harvest has proved to be much more than they have ever produced before. As a result other areas of the garden - weeding, pruning have got away on us. We prefer to host for a week or two rather than longer.
