Help
🌿 Couple or 2–3 Friends Wanted – Daily Home & Property Help (Northern Beaches, NSW)
Stay in a private, self-contained tiny home with kitchenette and bathroom, while helping us keep our home and property running smoothly. You’ll have independence and privacy, with clear daily tasks and flexible hours.
🐾 Daily start:
First thing in the morning, enjoy a coffee and take our friendly dog for a walk along the beach.
🧼 Housekeeping jobs (daily basics):
• Laundry – wash, dry, fold, and put away
• Kitchen – clean benches, wipe surfaces, empty and restack dishwasher
• Floors – vacuum and simple wipe/mop as needed
• Windows & mirrors – quick wipe for marks and fingerprints
• General tidying – wipe surfaces, keep everything neat and put away
• Bins – take out daily
• Beds – make beds each day (simple)
🛏 Weekly jobs:
• Wash and change linen on 3 beds (once a week)
🌱 Other tasks:
• Garden & outdoor maintenance – lawn mowing, weeding, tidying paths, sweeping decks
• Light upkeep – spot painting, window cleaning, pressure washing when needed
• Pet care – feeding, walking, and wash & dry the dog (fun!); basic care for our bird and stick insect
• Tidying storage areas – bikes, fishing gear, and shed
• Simple errands – grocery pick-ups if required
• Meal support – setting the table, basic prep, post-meal tidy
• Extra projects – oven clean, organising cupboards, or other one-off tasks
📋 Everything is clearly labelled and organised with a simple weekly procedures folder, so you’ll always know what needs doing.
⏰ Hours:
• 4–5 hours a day, 5 days a week
• Flexible between 8am–3pm
• Sleep in or get up early — whatever works for you, as long as the daily hours are completed with clear results.
🛏 You’ll enjoy:
• Private tiny home accommodation (own kitchenette & bathroom)
• A peaceful, nature-filled location with ferry access nearby
• Afternoons free to relax and explore
🎒 Popular activities here:
Bushwalking, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, bike riding, and roasting marshmallows around the campfire.
⸻
Available from mid-October until December 5th.
We ask for a minimum 1-week stay, but we’re really looking for a super-star helper (or couple) who would love a longer stay during the most magical time of year — when all the flowers are out and the weather is not too hot or too cold.
