  Welcome to a creative film and storytelling project based in Mbale, Uganda.
  
  This project focuses on using film, drama, and digital media to share real life stories, promote culture, and inspire positive change in the community.
  
  We work on small volunteer documentaries, short films, social media content, and creative storytelling projects that highlight everyday life, local experiences, and important social topics.
  
  WHAT WE DO
  
  We work on a variety of short films and storytelling projects, including:
  
  • Creating short film documentaries about real life in Uganda
  • Creating web series
  • Script writing and story development
  • Video editing
  • Graphic design & visual arts
  • Social media & online promotion
  • Voice acting
  • Fundraising & partnerships
  • Producing short videos for social media (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram)
  • Developing film ideas based on culture, travel, and community stories
  
  HOW YOU CAN HELP
  
  We are looking for volunteers who love filming, video editing, script writing, graphic design, visual arts, online promotion, voice acting, and fundraising.
  
  (NOTE): You don’t need to be a professional to join. If you’re just starting out or using a phone, you are welcome.
  
  SIMPLE WAYS TO GET INVOLVED:
  
  • Filming videos using your phone
  • Editing videos using free mobile apps like CapCut, InShot, or VN
  • Writing simple scripts or story ideas
  • Shooting short films or skits
  • Helping with directing scenes
  • Recording sound using a phone or basic mic
  • Taking behind-the-scenes photos
  • Creating content for social media
  • Assisting with ideas, planning, and storytelling
  • Learning basic editing, filming, and content creation step by step

  Please note that was a short-term film project previously run within the Acting Club, a film and drama project, that aimed at promoting environmental awareness through film, and has now ENDED.

  • You Can Take a weekend trip to the bustling town of Jinja where you can take a boat ride to where the Source of the Nile and Lake Victoria meet and go white-water rafting afterwards.
  
  • You May Decide To Watch Bull Fights in Bududa , Eastern Uganda.
