Description
Dear Travelers,
Myself, Anurag. I work in IT and travel a lot for my job, so my wife and little son are usually at home. We’re a small, simple Indian family and we thought it would be nice to host a solo female traveler who’s comfortable staying with a family.
You’ll have your own private room and bathroom, and you can join us for home-cooked food if you want. My wife likes having some company, and our son loves meeting new people and learning small things from them.
We don’t expect anything big - just someone friendly who can spend a little time with our son or share a bit about her culture.
If you’re coming to India and want a safe, homely place instead of staying alone in a hotel, we’d be happy to welcome you. We’re waiting for our first guest!

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
I think the biggest benefit for a traveller is that you actually get to live in a real Indian home, not just see India from hotels or tourist places. You understand how families talk, eat, think, joke… all the small things that you never learn from the outside.
You can try homemade food, learn simple Hindi words, see how we celebrate small things at home, and understand our daily routine. And we also get to learn from you - your culture, your traditions, even small habits that are normal for you but new for us.

Help
Honestly, we just want someone who is easygoing, respectful and okay with family life. In return, you get a safe place and a family who treats you nicely. Nothing formal, nothing strict - just normal day-to-day life with us.
If you are a solo female traveler coming to India and you prefer staying with a family instead of being alone, then you will probably feel comfortable here.
We are waiting for our first guest and looking forward to hosting someone who brings good vibes and maybe shares a bit about her world.

What else ...
During your free time, you can pretty much do whatever you enjoy. We live in a normal, safe neighbourhood with cafés, markets, and small parks around. If you want to explore, there are plenty of things nearby — temples, shopping streets, local food places, and some nice spots along the river. It’s not a touristy area, so you get to see how regular Indian life actually looks.
Public transport is easy here… autos, cabs, and buses are always available, and I can guide you on how to reach any place you want to visit. If I’m in the city, I can even drop you somewhere on my way.
You can also just stay home and relax — read, work on your laptop, sit on the balcony, play with our son, help my wife in the kitchen if you enjoy cooking, or just have a lazy day.
Basically, we don’t expect you to “perform” every minute. Explore, rest, learn, or do your own thing — whatever makes your travel experience better.
