    Description

I am a Certified French Teacher living in France. I can offer language lessons in return for some help around the house as I have been seriously injured and can not climb step ladder to paint! I have two bedrooms and could take several friends/students wanting a break away. I can offer meals and/or use of kitchen plus room with bathroom. I really need help around the house! I live in south west France where the weather is very warm and the area is beautiful and in this village there are lots of fun evenings planned for the summer.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

I live in a very typical village in the south west of France half way between Bordeaux and Toulouse. The weather is usually exceptionally warm and pleasant and there are lots of places to visit but it would be better to have your own transport because public transport is poor. In the village, which is particularly animated in summer, we have a Doctor, Pharmacy, Veterinary, Grocery shop, a bakery and a restaurant bar which has a lot of animation in the evenings so there is nearly everything in the village. I am a Language Teacher by profession with French and Spanish being languages I have taught in lots of different places from schools to businesses and even in private homes. I am always interested about learning about other cultures !

I could adapt to lots of different people. My first thought was language Students wanting to practise French but anybody wanting a break in France who could help me out would be welcome. I am handicapped to start with but had a nasty accident which I am still recuperating from. It would be mostly to paint and clean up the house I have just moved into but any skills will be appreciated!

I recently adopted two Yorkshire Terriers, brothers who were dumped at a shelter. They are lovely and settling in nicely but are still a bit wary about strangers.
