Description
We’re a family of four living on an old countryside homestead together with our big, gentle Leonberger dog. Life here is lively and full — with two small children and a few ongoing projects, we don’t always find the time to take care of our garden the way we’d like to.

We love welcoming people to our small countryside homestead. While we don’t plan a lot of structured family activities, there’s plenty of opportunity to enjoy quiet time, explore the garden, or relax in the wooden caravan. Guests can also take advantage of the surroundings — we have bikes available, and the beautiful Baltic Sea is within reach, including the seaside town of Eckernförde.

Help
We are a small countryside homestead and in March we offer a few days of retreat in our cozy wooden caravan. Anyone who feels like helping out in the garden for about three hours per night’s stay is welcome to join us — in exchange, you’ll have accommodation and breakfast. The work includes things like raking leaves and clearing away garden cuttings. An outdoor kitchen, outdoor bathroom, and plenty of dog cuddles are included. You’re welcome to come alone or as a couple.

You’ll be staying in a cozy wooden caravan — simple, yet very comfortable and made for relaxing. Inside, there’s a comfy 1.40 m wide bed for restful nights. A small wood stove keeps you warm on cooler days and adds a lovely, homely atmosphere. The veranda offers a beautiful view over the meadows and fields — you might even spot some deer passing by.

There’s plenty of opportunity to enjoy quiet time, explore the garden, or relax in the wooden caravan. Guests can also take advantage of the surroundings — we have bikes available, and the beautiful Baltic Sea is within reach, including the seaside town of Eckernförde.
