Description
There are five of us: Aga & Borys, boys - Mieszko (15, 5) & Bruno (12), dog - Pi. We run out from the capital of Poland ten years ago and build our house in a small green town in Lower Silesia. We are involved in many educational projects, we also run our NGO, before organized a festival and never are bored. We do also homeschooling with our boys so we are quite flexible with our life. We do try to live an ecological way. Our kids are in unschooling group with other kids of our friends, so they meet few times a week learning, playing and having some other activities.
If you enjoy having fun, playing with kids, being in nature, if you are creative and have a lot of ideas to share... then we want to invite you to the most inspiring project in our life: free education!Types of help and learning opportunities

By helping us you can experience how to create a good educational environment in a completely alternative way to the school. For us learning is not sitting in class, so you may spend a lot of time in the forest around our town, in theatre or other places. You will be staying with family, so you will be able to know and experience everyday life, cuisine, culture. We are quite active people so you can experience with us rock climbing, hiking in the mountains, camping etc.

Help
Generally, we want to invite you to be a part of our family for a while. We want you to share this what you feel good at: can you play some instrument, are you programming, or maybe you are ski teacher? There is always something to share.
It is important for us to improve English level of boys (they can both communicate already without even a single lesson of English - only contact with workawayers), so we would like our guests to be active in contact with kids, not to shy :). Some days boys are attending some workshops or classes, some days they are at home, so we would like you to plan some activities with them, join them in this what they are doing, spend time in the forest e.t.c. When we go for a trip, you are very welcome to join us, the same when we go to a concert or show.
It is important for us to not to feel like we are running a hostel (because we are not), so we want you to join us in simple everyday activities like making a fire in a fire place, some basic cleaning in the house or cooking. We are flexible in all this :)Languages

What else ...
In your time off you can be with nature, it is great area for running (we are both runners, there is also local team for trainings!), biking or walking. In the winter we swim in frozen lake, which can be also great experience.
Just 15 minutes from Oborniki Śląskie by train is Wroclaw, one of the most beautifull cities in Poland, full of old buildings and great places to see. Wroclaw is also cultural centre and capital of Lower Silesia.
In one hour by car you are in area where you can do rock climbing (we are climbing as well we will be happy to teach you!) and in two hours in the mountains where you can climb in the summer or ski in the winter.A little more information

The 'work' didn't feel like work at all! I actually don't know when was my work time or my free time :) I mostly spoke and interacted with the boys in English, cooked, and play during break time with the other homeschooled kids.… read more
How to start ? I can think of so many words !! I have to think well to be able to transmit it in the best way (since English is not my language). We arrived with a Lot of questions and doubts, because it was our first experience, and we wanted to be able to do everything in the… read more

The whole family was extremely welcoming and friendly; Aga and Borys are great hosts.
I always had a lot of fun with Mieszko and Bruno, and the other kids at the school. They are all very sweet, smart, and funny.
I hope to return soon.
Aga is this strange kind of person with a sixth sense to feel your needs and your emotions, that she always tries to fulfill. Aga from the first day mixed us with all their friends which were more than welcoming, and we felt part of their family and of the community… read more

It was great staying with them and helping at their educational organisation (school).
Aga was very friendly from the first moment we met and I felt relaxed yet energetic at the same time with her. If it wasn't her, I might not have felt the same. Her husband, Borys, was a nice, active person. I… read more
