Description
We are a young professional couple that lives in Parks, AZ. We are interested in conservation, sustainability and making our household more eco-friendly and self sufficient. We have lots of projects to complete! We have 2 dogs, many chickens, occasional turkeys, potentially 2 pigs, and an increasing number of rabbits... :)
We are a drug free household but are open-minded in regards to sexuality, religion, and cultures.
We are located about 45 minutes from Sedona, an hour from the Grand Canyon and 30 minutes from a local climbing spot called Paradise Forks/Sycamore Falls. We also have a small lake that's a little over a mile from the house! We enjoy sharing the southwest and anticipate learning about other countries. We are about 30 minutes from Flagstaff and can provide rides to and from about once per day during the week.Types of help and learning opportunities

We live in the beautiful mountains of Arizona with rock climbing, kayaking, mountain biking and hiking right around the corner. We can take you around and show you the cute town of Flagstaff and let you enjoy the simple life of small town United States.Help
Daily tasks include feeding/watering animals, collecting eggs, watering the garden (when it's growing) and harvesting.
We have plenty that could get done, but do not stress. Gardening, yard work, organization, general housework, composting, harvesting/butchering (making meat), outside maintenance, painting, or cooking are examples of the type of work but it will depend on the person. This summer we are trying to focus on growing and storing as much food as possible!Languages

Would absolutely host again.
They drove me to town, showed me around and took me to the gym, which was great.
There's nothing I could tell them to do better as a host, it felt very natural to stay with them and I would definitely come back!
