Description
Aloha! Welcome to our non-profit project where we are making an incubator for projects that can both make money and make the world a better place. A collaborative residency in the lush jungles of Kauai, where we combine off-grid innovation, sustainable building, and land stewardship. We're passionate about sustainability, regenerative agriculture and entrepreneurship! Weird combo? No way! So much can be learned about ourselves and creation from the natural world.
The way we see it this is a two step process:
Step 1) Build the incubator space.
Step 2) Incubate meaningful projects.
Step 3) Repeat.
We are kinda between step 1 and 2 right now where we need a lot of help physically preparing structures and buildings to be usable in the context of an incubator, while we are also starting to incubate some wild ideas.
🌞 So what might someone actually help out with?
Some current projects include:
• Painting, and some basic carpentry to love up on some structures that could use attention on the land
• Constructing a solar-powered ice bath trailer, and a solar powered lemonade stand
• Making a wind-mill from a washing machine motor
• Jungle maintenance: clearing paths, composting, and caring for the land
We also are into technology (software, hardware, UI/UX, coding, etc) -- and especially orienting incredible young minds towards things that can help the world. So if that stuff is up your alley, please reach out!
We’re looking for people who love getting their hands dirty—whether it’s with a drill, a shovel, or a machete!
PS. We don't accept couples (our space isnt set up for it). Friends can come together.
*****PPS. Please don't apply more than 2 months before your intended travel dates. We will just tell you to get in touch closer to your travel dates.Types of help and learning opportunities
