We have a detached house with a large garden on the hill overlooking the Moray Firth above the pretty Black Isle village of Avoch.
We are a retired couple, Mo and Ian, happy to welcome workawayers who can help keep our garden under control each summer. Mature trees, seasonal stream, herb garden, veg and fruit patch, flower beds, lawns and a small orchard. Different jobs at different times and depending on ability. Would suit a confident gardener happy to receive guidance and then work on their own or with another Workawayer.
We are looking for a pair of Workawayers. Non smoking please.
We offer self contained studio flat with kitchen, shower, and 2 single beds. We provide groceries for breakfast in your flat. Other meals taken with us or ingredients provided for you to self cater.
Bedding and towels provided.
We are happy to share local information and have 2 bikes available for exploring. Mo volunteers at the local museum which holds artifacts of the Pictish people who once lived in this area.
Gardening...digging, weeding, stacking wood, mowing lawn, cutting edges and pruning.
Studio flat with 2 single beds. Wifi access.
Avoch is on a regular bus route to Inverness, 25mins away. The West Coast is just over an hour's drive from Avoch, and John O Groats is 2 1/2 hours away. Culloden is 30min drive, Aviemore and the Cairngorms under an hour.
