Description
We are a family of 4, Terri and Alan and our daughter Carla who is 15 and my mother who is 70. We have 3 dogs Chilli, Pickle and Pepper, 2 cats Lannie and Ghost and 2 indoor rabbits Oreo and Angel. We are English/ Scottish but Carla is fluent in Portuguese. We have lived here for nearly 10 years. We have a lot of land. We are 20 minutes from Tomar, 40 minutes from Coimbra and live in a rural area. We have 2 bikes here. There are river beaches nearby and we are about an hour away from Nazare beach which is famous for surfing.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Opportunity to speak Portuguese. We are sociable and host friends of different nationalities. There are lots of FIestas (free events with live bands) on during June and July.

Help
We are looking for assistance looking after our private land so weeding, strimming and use of a lawn mower. Alan and I work full time so no tasks will be shared activities.

Separate Studio with double bed, fridge, nespresso machine, toaster, air con, bathroom with bath and shower, heating. On the property there is a pool, hot tub, BBQ, pizza oven, large zip wire, basketball net, football net, large trampoline, inflatable 3 person canoe, table tennis table.
What else ...
We are meat eaters so are not used to catering for vegetarians or vegans but could learn if need be. Would prefer non smokers.
