In a shaded outdoor area, two ducks and a chicken forage near a tree, black tub of water, and green plants against a metal fence.

    Description

    ==========
    We are available to host between mid-April and mid-December 2026.
    ==========

    I’m Esther (46), a primary school teacher, and I live here with my 14-year-old son, along with our lively little animal family: Molly the dog, Garfield the cat, Rosie the guinea pig, plus our ducks and chickens. Our home is warm, relaxed, and full of personality (and animal cuddles!), and we’re looking forward to sharing it with the right Workawayers.

    Our house is within town, a short walking distance to the Main Street which includes supermarkets, banks, cafes and post office. We are lucky to live in a peaceful, nature-filled area surrounded by forests, fresh air, and local produce. Manjimup is known for its truffles, orchards, and beautiful walking trails, and it’s a wonderful place to slow down, enjoy the outdoors, and experience regional Australian life. If you love nature, animals, and a quieter pace, you’ll feel right at home here.

    Because my son is neurodivergent, it’s important that Workawayers are patient, understanding, and ideally have some experience with neurodiverse young people. A calm, flexible approach to family life is essential.

    This would suit someone who enjoys being part of a real family environment, loves animals, and is happy to pitch in while also enjoying some downtime exploring the local area.

    If you’re looking for a meaningful stay where you can contribute, connect, and enjoy a unique part of Australia, we’d love to hear from you 🌼
