    Hola!
Are you looking for a time-out in a little village with abundant greenery, fresh air, rolling hills and beautiful forests around, not too far from the sea? If you love nature, hiking and gardening you are absolutely right here!

We live in the Asturian countryside, in a tranquil little village (pop. around 20 people) between small hills, forests and a lot of greenery 35 minutes away from really nice beaches and with many hiking opportunities around. The next small cities are 25 mins by car (Villaviciosa and Infiesto), the next big city 40 mins (Gijon), the next bigger village 5 km. If you love nature, calm, walking or hiking you are absolutely right here.
We that is currently me and my border collie mix. We have a veggie garden and a house I renovated and a parking space for a campervan with really nice views and a terrace just in front of it.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We can do some trips nearby together, like hiking, visiting the area or SUP or something like this, according to your interests. I can tell you a lot about this area.
I like gardening, ecstatic dance, long walks with the dog, being at the beach, yin and somatic yoga, great food, great talks, concerts, pizza and lots more and you can join me if some of that is taking place during your stay here!

You can learn about Spain, Asturias, Gardening, Spanish, vegetarian cooking, Social Sciences, therapies and much more and I am looking forward to the interests and skills you like to share with me. If you are a yoga teacher I would love to do yoga together or if you are a dog trainer we could practice some things with my dog and if spanish is your first language, I would be delighted to further improve my Spanish skills.

I am a social person but also need time alone and I am also working...so you should enjoy spending time alone or making trips and exploring the area alone sometimes, too.

  • Help

    Help

My main interest is to get some help in the garden from someone who has some experiences with gardening and truly enjoys!

There are various little tasks to do around the house and garden, like painting, that do not require any special skills just a handy person and some simple DIY with wood projects that would benefit from some experience if you have any.

Most of the times we would work together or at least both in the garden at the same time in different tasks.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

I offer an own room inside the house. Kitchen and bathroom are shared.

If you stay in the house, there will only be one workawayer during your stay, as the room is not very big. If you come by campervan I can host 2 people.

I looove eating yummi food! I can cook for us or we can share the cooking. I cook vegetarian and mainly organic food from my garden or the region. Once a day I eat musli/porridge, once something warm and once something with bread.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

There is a lot of beautiful nature to explore around here. If you like hills and forests, waterfalls, rivers, the sea and rural life - you are just right! Once a month there is a handicraft market not far away, And there are beautiful beaches a half hour buy car - some even have dinosaur footprints. The area is famous for its sidra (cidre) apple trees and sidra-making.

We can co-create your stay here together according to both our wishes and situations.

It is important for me to have a video chat beforehand, as sympathy and trust are crucial for me when sharing my home.

    Space for parking camper vans

There is a parking for your caravan. It is a lovely place with a gravel ground close to our house with a terrace and mountain views right in front of it. We always used to park our 8,50mx2,50m campervan there - the roads to us are curvy and smallish, but it is all asphalt and is fine. If you stay in the campervan I could accomodate two people. if we get along well, it is also possible to stay longer and organize it differently with less work (and less cooking from my side ;-) ), more like shared living. It is really just up to talking about it and deciding something that works well for both. For this it helps to be able to communicate wishes and needs clearly. I have been living communally for more than 15 years and have some practice with it. :-)

    Can possibly accept pets

If you stay in a campervan: We have a very nervous and easily excited dog. He is not very territorial and not aggressive with other dogs, but he is a bit insecure and does not get all the social clues so if you have an insecure or aggressive dog, it will probably not work, as some dogs already have attacked him.If your dog is patient, confident and calm and not territorial about the campervan there should not be a problem. Our dog is a male and early castrated dog from a dog shelter. He chases cats and (not a pet but important to know:) he is scared of children, so both would not be an option. If you stay in the house: sorry, no pets please.
