We are a family of 4 (50, 50, 12, 10) , open minded and we live a mindful life. We are an architect and a craniosacral therapist & two great girls. We are worldschoolers - free living & free learning. We are vegetarian/vegan. We have a 2 year old Labrador Retriever dog.

We live in the middle of all outdoor activities and breathtaking nature of the Bernese Oberland.
We are close to Bern, the capital of Switzerland (30 min by train), Interlaken by bus or train (30 Min.) , Zurich, Basel, Luzern, Lausanne, Zermatt ( 90 min by train).
We will be happy to meet people from all around the world and if you like we tell you about a lot of things to do and see in the area.
You are welcome to join us - and you are free to check out the area.

You work on 5 days 4 hours/day. We provide accommodation and the meals you are having with us (vegetarian/vegan).
If you are traveling with your kids age between 6 - 15 (max. 2 kids - natural language exchange with our kids) you are very welcome.
Adults and kids would help in the kitchen - all around having meals.
Younger kids would only do some light gardening if they like to but if the kids get along well enjoy playing and having fun with our kids would be the kids job:-)
Usually there is always tasks to do in and around the house, mainly maintenance in the house and gardening. Sometimes we have projects, like building a path out of stones...(pic)
We ask you not to cook meat in our house.

Beds in our living room, shared bathroom across the hallway. There is only one volunteer, couple or small family at a time.
2 mins walk to lake of Thun. Bus stop nearby with frequent connections to Interlaken and Thun and the Thun train station.
There is no car available, if you need one you have to rent it. We can pick you up at the train station.
