Description
We are a family living within walking distance to the beach coast of the Straits of Melaka. The Tg Tuan forest reserve is a short drive away and it's gazetted as an Important Birding Area, especially for the migratory Raptors.
Our family love the outdoors and conduct nature appreciation classes along the coastal shores and jungle.
We live away from the city, in a remote area and lead a simple, back to basics life.
My children lead an unschooling way of life as I believe that they need to tune in to their own compass and seek for their passions in life by giving them the freedom to explore.
By welcoming Workaways into our family I hope to introduce my children to the many different cultures, languages and people. It would great if you play the piano, badminton or chess
Current project:
We are creating an educational space for children (from toddlers to pre-teens) that supports their developmental needs and encourages self exploration.
There will be a lot of fluidity, with freedom for discovery through unstructured playTypes of help and learning opportunities

You will be exposed to our coastal wildlife as we hold regular outings at our beach and forest reserve. And certainly our alternative Unschooling methodology.
You will be fully immersed in our Chinese culture and cuisine. You will be treated to authentic Chinese meals and if you are interested, trips to the market or fishing village , and we could cooking together. We enjoy cooking and eating! And we could also teach you MahjongProjects involving children
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
