    Description

We are a family of four, with our girls being 11 and 17 years old. Because the girls are still quite young we prefere to take female workawayers, or couples. We have been running a horse farm in the north of Norway for the last six years. In the summer, we moved to our new and current farm in Holmestrand, one hour south of Oslo, and hope to have as many good work away experiences here as we had in the north the last couple of years.

We will have 7 horses of our own, and 13 horses in total in our facilities through the year. We have 14 boxes for horses in addition to the other farm animals. On the farm we have woolen pigs, mohair goats, hens, giant bunnies, a cat and two dogs in different sizes 😊

You might enjoy the fresh air and silence at our farm. The farm is only ten minutes from Holmestrand sentrum where you find everything you need, and only a 20 minutes by car or train from Drammen, a bigger city around here. At the same time, the farm has magnificent surroundings, with miles of forest trails including a variety of plants and wild berries.

Our children compete in showjumping, so taking good care of the familys private competition horses on a daily basis is very important for and is the workawayers daily and ONLY task, in addition to helping out with family tasks, suchas making dinner and laundry. You will go with us to trainings and help out with making the horses ready for training and competitions.

If you like to go hiking and being outside and enjoy the nature, our farm is the perfect place to enjoy your spare time. And if you want to go for a tour in the capitol for Norway it is only an hour away by train

Ifyiu have the skills for riding our horses, You are also able to help out training them.

Our place is perfect for everyone who loves horses and animals in general - if you are not afraid of getting dirty and have a positive mindset.

You will have your own space in the caravan next to the stable, and use the Brand new sanitary room (bathroom with shower in the stable building.). If you have sertain skills you think will be important for us, please let us know :) You might be the one we have been waiting for ;)

We eat dinner together when the children come from school, or in the evening. It depends on which activities we have on the farm that day. Beakfast,(normally bread meals) we arrange seperatly because we normally aren`t up at the same time in the morning.
