    Description

I live on the edge of Limerick City , on the banks of the River Shannon. I have an urban garden that I am attempting to develop into a haven of urban biodiversity. While I work professionally as a gardener I simply do not have enough time to work on my own space. I would truly appreciate some help with this in exchange for a comfortable room, good food and a great introduction to Irish culture.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Our home in Limerick City offers a unique opportunity to experience both urban life and the stunning natural beauty of Ireland. For those eager to discover the Emerald Isle, our location is truly ideal. With the main bus and train station just a pleasant 30-minute walk away, the entire island becomes easily accessible for day trips and longer excursions. I have personally explored many of Ireland's hidden gems and breathtaking hikes, and I'm thrilled to share my extensive knowledge and point you towards unforgettable adventures.

Beyond exploring, your time with us will be a rich cultural exchange. While assisting with the development of our eco-garden right here in the city, you'll gain hands-on experience in sustainable gardening practices and learn about local food culture. I'm passionate about both and eager to share my knowledge with you. We envision a collaborative environment where we can exchange ideas and learn from each other.

More than just a helper, we hope you'll feel like part of our family. We'll interact regularly, sharing meals, stories, and perhaps even some local traditions. We're genuinely interested in learning about your culture and experiences as well, creating a two-way exchange that enriches us all. We believe in fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere where you feel comfortable and truly at home during your stay."
