  Description

  We are Günseli (fashion designer) and Burak (cinematographer). We work in a hybrid way — around 50% from home and 50% outside in meetings. We recently moved to Fenerbahçe, Istanbul.
  
  Because of our design and film projects, we are often busy with studio work. We are looking for people with genuine dog experience who can take responsibility mainly for dog walking, three times a day. All our dogs are big and adopted from the street. They are calm and lovely at home and have a strong connection with us. Walking needs focus and a real connection with the dogs. If you don’t build a relationship, they may not listen — sometimes they don’t even walk with new volunteers. The key to enjoying their company is connection and a natural love of animals. Out of seven dogs, four have a tendency to pull and bark when they see small pets. So during these walks, it’s important to stay careful, calm and always have close connection with them. Connection and attention are necessary. We want to keep the house joyful and warm for all of us.
  
  Tasks required from travelers:
  -Animal care
  -Walk the 4 dogs three times a day (in two groups)_each group should walk around 40 minutes
  -Prepare and cook meals for the animals:
  • Dogs—meat or chicken with rice and vegetables, twice daily
  • Cats—fresh dry food and water in the morning and evening, clean cat litter twice daily
  -Observe health and behavior
  -House care
  -Daily light cleaning and house vacum. We enjoy a clean and positive environment at home.
  
  Food
  We are vegetarian. We like to keep things simple and friendly. The fridge is always stocked, and everyone can cook whenever they want. Sometimes we cook and eat together; sometimes each person makes their own meal.
  
  Schedule :
  5 Days a Week
  Morning shift: 08:00 – 10:00
  Evening shift: 16:00_18:00
  A short walk in the evenning between 23:00_24:00. for their toilet needs.
  Daily lighthouse cleaning
  
  The rest of the day is free, but always keep an eye and ear open for the animals. They enjoy hugs, cuddles, and little snacks—and like simply being around people, whether you’re working, cooking, or reading.
  
  Daily rhythm: Dog walking, cat attention, and food preparation are essential parts of life here.

  We are very open to different cultures and believe that we can learn from each other while enjoying our friendship. We would be happy to spend time together and exchange ideas. We are the home of a human-animal family. I think our guests will experience a beautiful harmony between humans and animals where they can be exactly friends. Rather than an owner-animal relationship, we have a family-friend type of loving and fun relationship that needs to be experienced.

  Because we already live with 4 dogs and 5 cats, bringing another animal can sometimes create challenges in harmony. For this reason, it’s not our first choice.
