Description
Hello, I live alone at the extreme edge of the Datça peninsula, situated on the edge of the Aegean Sea in the southwest of Turkey.
I am looking for a Workawayer who would be interested in helping with general house maintenance and gardening around my village house.
General housekeeping tasks: cleaning the house, preparing meals, and other simple daily chores.
Preparing the garden for summer: getting the soil ready, setting up a drip-irrigation system, and planting vegetables. The garden is very small, about 15 m².
Collecting green almonds in a nearby almond field that I own. The harvest window is very short and usually limited to the second half of March.
In addition, there may also be some façade work on a stone house in another nearby village, mainly pointing the stone wall.
It will be a dynamic job, not really planned — we will go with the flow, with no rush and no pressure. Some fun tasks might be added if the motivation comes, such as building a wooden wrigglers farm or a wooden dehydration oven. More details will be shared if interested. It’s a very cool place and will be even better with your contribution. I am open to language exchange as well.

Travelers will be 30 km far away from the city center. Otherwise there are several small villages surrounding. It's a touristic place with bays, mountains, ancient city. Helpers can benefit from all of them in their time off.
